Remi Wolf Returns With New Song “Twiggy”

Remi Wolf is back with her first new song in two years, following Big Ideas. She debuted “Twiggy” live last weekend during a surprise appearance at Hayley Williams’ headlining set at Newport Folk Festival. Check out the recorded version of the song below.

“Twiggy” pairs a warm, finger-picked guitar arrangement with lyrics about a close and complicated relationship illustrated in small details: a Lexus driving backwards, “a wrinkle where your eyes should close.” “I wrote Twiggy about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability. And how I like that. Or maybe it’s just about the messiness of addiction? Idk, you decide :)” The new song also features a vinyl-only B-side, “Tiny Little Twigs (Demo).”

Since releasing Big Ideas in 2024, Remi Wolf has collaborated with Thundercat and Zedd, as well as performed at a number of festivals. In May, she also appeared as herself in the season premiere of the Amazon Prime show Off Campus, playing the Big Ideas songs “Soup,” “Alone in Miami,” and “Toro“
