Following the success of last year’s Christmas Everyday, Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Brandy Norwood is set to return to Lifetime for the upcoming holiday sequel, currently operating under the working title Christmas Everyday Again.
The film, which recently wrapped production, will serve as a centerpiece for the network’s annual “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday programming slate.
Norwood will reprise her NAACP Image Award-nominated role as Chicago fashion designer Francine “Fancy” Ballantine. She will once again be joined by her real-life daughter, Sy’rai Smith, who returns as Fancy’s younger sister, Belle.
The core family dynamic is rounded out by returning stars Debbi Morgan, playing their mother, Evelyn, and Robert C. Riley as Fancy’s fiancé, Jaylen.
“I’m so excited to step back into Fancy’s world,” Norwood shared regarding the announcement. “Making Christmas Everyday was such a special experience, and I’m thrilled that audiences will get to continue this journey with these characters.”
Christmas Everyday Again follows Fancy as she prepares for the most critical season of her professional and personal life. While striving to secure the future of her thriving boutique, she is simultaneously planning her dream Christmas wedding to Jaylen.
Despite having the support of her mother and sister, mounting business pressures and the unexpected return of a reformed ex prompt Fancy to isolate herself and shoulder her burdens alone. This independent streak inadvertently pushes Jaylen away, forcing Fancy to decide whether she can let go of her past before it jeopardizes her future.
The sequel reunites much of the original film’s supporting cast, alongside a notable new addition to the franchise.

The film is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios (FES), Relevé Entertainment, and Motion Entertainment for Lifetime. Norwood serves as an executive producer alongside Dr. Holly Carter, Ryan Ramsey, and Stella Bulochnikov.
