As they prepare to release the A. G. Cook-produced ZIRP! next month, Diiv have shared a new song, “Kid,” with a video from Jaxon Whittington. The director enlisted a couple of little pals to film the short: Diiv frontperson Zachary Cole Smith’s son Roy and his friend Julian. Watch the charming video below.
The band’s Frog in Boiling Water follow-up—whose title is an acronym for “zero interest rate policies”—is due October 30 via Fantasy. Tour dates in North America and Europe, including a November date at Pitchfork Paris, kick off late this month, after a one-off Brazilian show at São Paulo’s Balaclava Fest.
