The 2026 Latin Grammys are just two months away, and today, the Latin Recording Academy revealed a list of nominees. Leading the pack this year with 10 nods is songwriter Edgar Barrera, who is nominated for collaborations with Karol G, Carín Leon, and more. He’s followed by Karol G herself, Rosalía, Jorge Drexler, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, who have seven each. Check out a full list of nominees here.
Rosalía’s Lux is up for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year (the latter two for “La Perla” with Yahritza y Su Esencia and Su Esencia). She’ll duke it out in all three categories with Karol G, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and Silvana Estrada. Becky G and Santana also got a nod in the Song of the Year category, for their collaboration “Mi Gran Amor.”
Further down the ballot, J Balvin and Ryan Castro netted a nomination for Best Urban Music Album for Omerta, in a category that also features records from Young Miko and Bad Gyal. Rauw Alejandro, Wisin, and Ñengo Flow are in the running for Best Reggaeton Performance, and Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee picked up a Best Urban Performance nomination for “Daddy Yankee: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66.”
Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy, said in a statement, “These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape.“
This year’s winners will be selected during a ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 12. Univision is set to air the event live, with more broadcasting partners still TBA.
