Fontaines D.C. Recruit Rosalía for New Song “Where Is Gone?”

Fontaines D.C. have unveiled “Where Is Gone?” the Rosalía collaboration from the Irish band’s new album Dopamine Chamber. Check it out below.

Fontaines guitarist Carlos O’Connell, who grew up in Madrid with both Spanish and Irish cultures, said in a press release, “I’ve been a fan of ROSALÍA since her debut album, which was absolutely beautiful. What really excited me was how she was keeping a Spanish tradition of music alive, which in a spiritual way felt akin to what we’ve tried to do with Irish music. For someone with roots in both countries, it’s been beautiful to see. She’s an artist who’s blown me away at every stage since.”

The James Ford-produced Dopamine Chamber is due October 16 via XL. Rosalía continues to do the rounds behind Lux, most recently appearing on Saturday Night Live to play “Reliquia” and “Magnolias” and cameo in a sketch.
